"Love the food and love the atmosphere!! Burger is good the sandwich is sooooo good! Especially that pink dip, I don’t know the ingredients but that dip is just so refreshing and delicious! Fries are absolutely crispy and great! I love everything about this place but only one thing is.. I wish they have better kombucha."

"Very cute place, food is wonderful and the view is great, such a lovely vibe! A few times when I went my buzzer didn't go off and I waited a really long time for the food without realizing it had already been made and was just sitting there, but aside from that everything was great! Make sure you get there right when they're firing up the pizza oven, and check on facebook for their monthly menus!"

"Rising Silo is fantastic everytime we come. The staff is friendly, the views are spectacular, and everything they serve is fresh. The Silo burger is one of the best burgers I've had across the country and the fries are spectacular. The beer is phenomenal and made with ingredients from the farm. The farm stand that is attached, sells an array of fresh foods including fresh vegetables, pork, beef, eggs, chicken and other various produce. This is a must stop if you are in Blacksburg!"

"Good people, good food, good beer, good vibes! Rising Silo is such a special place. It's a brewery located on a farm on the edge of Blacksburg--both the beer and food are always fresh and seasonal, you can count on something new, but also dependable standbys. They have a great grassy lawn for lounging and taking in the fresh air and beautiful mountain views. Kids love running around and it's super dog-friendly. Also very much appreciate the variety of non-alcoholic options like their house made sodas, ginger beer, cider, and flavored and unflavored sparkling water. They also started carrying a selection of near beers! And live music!! One of the few places in town with a consistent weekly lineup of live music. We love Rising Silo"

"We went late on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is very relaxed and easygoing. There were plenty of tables available. I tried the two lagers: Mtn Bush Blonde and Llama Lager. I really liked the Blonde and went back for another glass. We also had chips and salsa as well as a pretzel. We had a good time just hanging out and plan to come back again on our next trip to Blacksburg."

"Fun, funky, happy place. We arrived just before a thunderstorm and happily enjoyed sampling a flight while watching the storm roll in. The big open windows made us feel like we were outside, but still stayed dry. Great view of the beautiful summer flowers and naturalized landscaping. A big, wood-fired pizza oven was rolling out lovely pies. We sampled the pretzel and fries. Loved the Silo Sauce! Favorite beers were the carrot ginger and the elder fairy. Live music was great!"
